What would the world be, once bereft

Special Prizes

Molly Gloss Molly Gloss was the first Tiptree winner to be crowned with the Tiptree Tiara, made and donated by Elise Matthesen. The tradition was begun to invite the Tiptree winner to wear the tiara for the duration of the convention at which the ceremony took place. The Tiptree Motherboard reclaims the tiara at the end of the weekend and reserves it for the next year’s Tiptree winner.

Molly Gloss, Molly Gloss sung to the tune of “Lollipop,” by The Chordettes
Molly Gloss, Molly Gloss
Oh Molly, Molly Molly
Molly Gloss, Molly Gloss
Oh Molly, Molly Molly
Molly Gloss, Molly Gloss
Oh Molly, Molly Molly
Molly Gloss
[Pop] Ba-bum-bum-bum

We call our winner Molly Gloss
Tell you why
Her book is feminist and droll and wry
And when she writes about those Sasquatch guys
Man, we think it’s worth a prize

We call her
Molly Gloss, Molly Gloss
Oh Molly, Molly Molly
Molly Gloss, Molly Gloss
Oh Molly, Molly Molly
Molly Gloss, Molly Gloss
Oh Molly, Molly Molly
Molly Gloss!
